Yes, for those of you who have never been to our lovely estate, this is the Park Homestead.  We have lived here since 2001 and we love it.  It is a three bedrom, 1 1/2 bath with a basement, which I finished.  It is in a nice little neighborhood of about fifty houses that look just like this one, only reverse and different finishes.  Many of the houses have added on to the rear or above the garage.  We plan to do the same someday.

We have a big backyard:

This is from the back fence looking at the house.    This one is from the house lookng out

One of the best things about our house is that it is centrally located.  We are minutes from any major highway, bridge, mall, school.  Everything.  Also we are only 9/10 mile from Mimi and Pop's house, so the kids get to see them often, which is great, especially when we need a babysitter!!  (Thanks, Mom and Dad!)

As you can see, we have plenty of room for the kids to run, throw and kick balls around.  Also the swingset is popular.  There is also ample room for the various dogs who visit and stay with us to roam and tear around for excercise.

LATEST WORK ON THE HOUSE:

I just installed a tankless water heater!  It is a very cool thing that will help to save energy costs.  What it is:  It's a box that hooks up to the water, the same as a hot water heater, only this has not big tank!  It instantly heats the water as it flows through the pipes.  The beautiful thing about this is that you can never run out of hot water!!  That means long hot showers!  Now that can be bad if it runs for toooo long.  But the other nice thing is that when you are not using hot water, the thing does not run!  There is no pilot to light, no electricity to run, not hot water to kep hot.  You don't have to set it on vacation when you leave town, because with out you there, it won't run at all!  Anyway, I highly recomend getting one.  But, you should know that they are expensive.  They can run anywhwere from $600 to $1600!!  PLUS INSTALLATION and some parts!  I got one on the internet, direct from Bosch for $599, and installed it myself.  It was a brutal nightmare of a job, but I'm good, and I got it done!  It's a long story.  But I wouldn't do it for less that $500 for anyone else.  BUt make sure you get the one big enough for your house.  The one I got is a little small for the house, but will handle 1 1/2 baths, which is what I have.  You should go big if you can.  Check them out here:  Bosch Tankless Hot Water Heaters
